What We Do

Selling in the 21st Century

Hands up if you work in sales?

Selling is a skill – whether you are selling a distinct product or idea, whether you are selling bedtime to your child, or a project to your team – we all sell.

In the 21st Century, selling is not about simply ‘closing a deal’; it is about forming the right relationships in order to make selling easy in the long term. Selling is about fulfilling a need in another’s mind. To do it well, we have to identify the need Just find what it is – they will help define it!

Most mistakes occur in sales when people jump too quickly to the solution we have before establishing the need they have. If we do the initial work effectively, there is less need to ‘handle objections’ and less need to ‘close the deal’ in the way traditional outdated sales models will direct us. The customer will close it for us.

Sales is not something done to a customer, it’s something done with them.
