My organisation was going through a period of uncertainty and rapid change which was affecting the team as a whole and some individuals in particular. I was looking for ways for re-energising the team and to get them to focus and return to their high performing ways. Through conversation with colleagues within the our business group, Simon was recommended to me based on a training session he had provided to one of my clients; a well known global brand.
Every single member of my team was a university graduate in engineering or science and had strong views about things. The older ones amongst the team were sceptical, having done it all, seen it all and been to many training sessions.
At the end of the interactive programme the two chief engineers (most sceptical) admitted publicly that they were totally surprised by what they had discovered about themselves and the team as much as they had learned.
Months later the team developed its own core values and code of conduct which enhanced the performance.
The transformation of the team from within was the big win for me.
